Coils that are built up on a 12” face allowing large weight coils for widths
under 1 7/8” wide.

 

• How does Feroleto handle welds?

Oscillate coil welds can be marked with paint and paper or a hole can be punched.

 

• What is the difference between hot dip galvanization and electro-galvanization?

These are two ways of applying coating. Electro is generally a lighter coil weight than hot dipped.

 

• What is Galvalume® ?

 Galvalume is a special product with a coating made primarily of zinc and aluminum.

 

• What applications do you see most frequently that use Galvalume?

Metal buildings is a major application for Galvalume.

 

 • What is Galfan®

Galfan is a zinc-5% aluminum alloy with a mischmetal addition. It is applied as a coating on steel and offers improved corrosion resistance.
